Cabaret Mado is the most iconic gay bar in Montreal. It gets its name from the drag queen Mado Lamotte, who will entertain you in French, and occasionally English. She has of course other drag queens invited over to perform, so check out the website to see who is there when you plan to go. The music after the show is just perfect to dance. The place can get very packed but always filled with very good vibes and fun party atmosphere. Patrons are very friendly and welcoming, and the staff is very nice too. And drinks are quite cheap (shooters are just 2$). It's definitely a must go place in Montreal’s Village!
