Located very close to the other gay Beach of Portimão : João de Arens, praia do submarino is another beautiful gay beach in South Portugal, and a good option if you got tired of the other beach, or if tou want to try different gay beaches in Algarve. It's pretty much the same Access, but instead of taking the Path to the left, you take it to the right. You'll see very soon a first path going down , and you'll have to cross a broken iron bridge, to get to a first little beach surrounded by little cliffs. I'd recommend to take some shoes as it's not an easy path. On this first beach you'll see a tiny passage to the right , taking you to the second and bigger beach. Careful with the tides as itst flooded in high tide. You'll find mostly gay guys and some straight people here.
