Grand Slam is an iconic gay bar on the gay scene of Osaka! It’s a gay karaoke bar to be very precise and it’s popular both among local Japanese gay guys and visitors. Staff is friendly (and hot) and does speak English which makes it easier. Other patrons are super welcoming. So it’s easy to meet people if you’re coming in a small group of friends. The place opens daily (only closed on Monday) until late (5am) so it can be either a great place to start the evening or it can be an option to finish when you’re drunk enough to challenge yourself with the karaoke or just dance on their mini stage! Entrance fee is 1000¥, including your first drink (any other is approx 700¥). The place itself is not very big (it’s like 100 people in there) but extremely welcoming!
