La Botica is a great gay bar in Mexico, and one of my favorite (and actually one of the oldest) mezcalerias in Mexico, so the best place to enjoy one of the long list of delicious mezcal cocktails (or several actually). This iconic gay bar has also very friendly bartenders and fun karaoke nights to offer. The crowd here is always fun and welcoming with no attitude. It’s easy to chat with people. The place can bet pretty full on certain evenings, with everyone dancing and having fun. They close quite early for Mexican standards, so it’s a great place to start the night before heading to a club.
