Marshall’s Beach is the main gay nude beach of San Francisco. located north of Baker Beach toward the Golden Gate Bridge. The main difference between Marshall’s and Baker Beach is that Baker is a non-sexual, clothing-optional beach with a mostly straight/mixed crowd while Marshall’s is mostly gay and can get pretty crusy. Marshall’s Beach can get crowded on warm weekends. San Francisco has its warmest days in August and September. Although, the months before and after can be good too. It’s best to check the Golden Gate Bridge weather or WebCam before you go because it can be hot/sunny in the city and cold/foggy at the coast. Always pack a sweater. Cruising tends to take place around the north end toward the bridge or behind the big boulders along the coast. But when it’s busy cruising can happen everywhere. Pack your trash out and be cautious of tourist and families walking the beach when playing around. Only with mutual respect we can keep this beach the way it is.
