it’s not exactly the beautiful nudist beach you could think of, but it’s still a very nice sandy area, with lots of dunes, next to a river lagoon. The place doesn’t lack of charm. Located on the east side of lake Michigan, it’s very clean and quiet and makes a great place to enjoy naked sunbathing. To get Oval beach naturist zone from Saugatuck, take the ferry to cross the river, and head to Oval beach road (about 1 mile after the place where the ferry dropped you). From the parking lot walk to the north (or to the right when facing at the water) to find the gay section of the beach. You then have to pay an entree fee of 10$ to enter this private area. Keep walking ¼ mile until you reach an orange post. You have arrived, or almost, as it’s not on the beach itself that you can enjoy nudity, but in the dunes at the back of the beach
