Description :
Riss beach is very popular in the LGBTQ community and if you go there you’ll find a large spectrum of its members. Atmosphere is really nice, people super friendly and everyone’s just having a good time with music everywhere and people drinking on the beach. It’s very popular and very crowded on week-ends in Summer. Gay crowd regroup more on the easternmost portion of the beach (where the former hospital stands) by the 149th street. Crowd is very diverse, but a lot of hot guys come here to sunbath. Absolutely worth the journey!

It's a bit crowded, but still fun to visit on a sunny weekend ! The beach is a very popular meeting point for all gay people from NYC. It's the perfect place to meet people and make new friends
