The Ramble is the name for the wooden area which is located right in the middle of Central Park, close to the lake (the southern lake for those who are not familiar with NYC, but don’t worry it’s easy to find on google maps). It’s quite popular for gay cruising, especially in the most dense part of this little forest. So if you’re curious to discover it, go on a sunny Sunday for a walk on the little paths, but just after dawn, as during day time it’s quite busy with families. But don’t wait too late as the ramble closes at night (1am). Nice mix of people coming here, for the very convenient central location.
