Werdinsel in small island located in the suburbs of Zurich (about 5km from downtown), easily accessible with Sbahn. It’s quite small, but it’s a fun place to go in Summer when it’s sunny and hot to sun bath and swim in the Limmat river. The very cool thing about this island and that the northwestern tips (so the left one when looking in google maps) is actually FKK (naturist) and very popular among local gay people and gay tourists. But careful, its quite risky to attempt using the bush as a cruising area as the police is watching closely. In order to get there take Sbahn number 13 and get off at Winzerstrasse , you’ll have then just 1km to wallk to get to the island. Good to know : there is a snack bar in the textile area.
